The Home Instruction Program for Parents of Preschool Youngsters is a home-based program for the educational enrichment of preschool children and for the promotion of increased awareness by their parents of their own strength and potential as home educators.
Participation in the program helps children become more responsible, responsive, and successful school pupils, while fostering changes in parents related to their self-image and attitudes toward education.
